We have all heard that the numbers are for quality, but its not as stated before.
I just use them as a game, whoever gets the lowest number has to buy the next round of tins... i always get the lower number haha

Well yes it does, Grizzly Company is in TN. Your First 3 numbers are ssat out on the end date that the company sets to ship. The Next Ones are so on and so forth. So say i get Can Number 1, A since i live in TN, Shipment processes to me the next day. My dip would be better than if i get a can thats sat to number 12.

That makes more sense to me. i knew why they put the numbers there but i didnt know if that translated into fresher dip. i live in crossville TN and i have only run across one 10, and nothing higher, out of the 1500 cans me and my roommate have in our collection.

A way to check the theory of the '12 tubs' would be to see if certain numbers only show up on certain products. (like I recently got two cans of wintergreen pouches, they were both 2) if there is tweleve different tubs, each one would be for a different product right? or maybe a few for each. but they would have to seperate them somehow. Just a thought..
